Buzzetta heritage shows in Sapore's Italian menu

For a new place, the service was polished and professional. Both of our servers had a certain familiarity, as if we'd seen them at a variety of other restaurants around town, and the apparent experience level translated into excellent knowledge of the menu and a high level of attention.

Ladue News - July 2009

Sapore Italian Cafe is coming soon, from the family that brought us the former Benedetto's in Frontenac and Limoncello in Clayton. Son and chef PAUL BUZZETTA is opening the new establishment in Manchester in early July. Located at the corner of Manchester and Baxter roads (in a corner of Dierberg's Plaza Lafayette Center), the spot will serve creative pastas, seafood and steaks. Corporate catering will be available, along with the opportunity to reserve the restaurant for private functions.

"The food at Sapore is absolutely phenomenal!!! We are totally hooked!!!"
- Diane Duenez, Special Projects Producer, KMOV TV

"After an afternoon of shopping, my friend Ann and I ate dinner at Sapore Italian Cafe (Manchester & Baxter). The seafood risotto was the best I've ever had. I sampled Ann's Farfalinni Mascarpone (Italian for to-die-for pasta in cream sauce). For dessert, Chef Paul brought out a Tiramisu large enough to serve everyone in the state of Texas. Oh-my-God, delicious! If you want to find me tonight: I'll be doing Wii Fit. I'll be back for sure. It's so nice to have an awesome Italian restaurant in the area. I forgot to mention Sapore's homemade bread. (good sigh)"
- Gena Bast, Dierbergs Markets
